I must send a personal thank you message to Arsene Wenger. His transfer dealings this January have allowed me to perfect the spelling of both Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, neither easy names to spell.
Sure the Gunners are about to lose Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, with the Chilean shown boarding a private jet on Sunday on his own Instagram before the leaked image of him in Manchester United's number seven jersey, but they're getting a very good player in exchange.
Not to be outdone there's now a leaked image of Mkhitaryan in Arsenal kit, looking like he might be doing his first interview for Arsenal's official outlets:
All the details have reportedly been ironed out between the two clubs, with the deal now said to be a straight swap, whilst the players have also agreed their deals with the clubs.
Sanchez arrived in Manchester sometime on Sunday and it seems he's had time for his medical whilst the Armenian who is taking his place will have done exactly the same.
However there might still be a while to wait until the deal is officially confirmed. Neither men are members of the European Economic Area so their work permits will need updating, although that will not be an issue for either.
Despite not longer being part of Jose Mourinho's plans at Old Trafford, and quickly falling out of favour with the Portuguese manager, former Dortmund player Mkhitaryan actually started the season pretty well.
The 29 year old, who had his birthday yesterday, has five assists from 11 starts in the Premier League with those coming in the first handful of games before his form disappeared.
- Just as a side note, if you're a child in the north London area don't go entering the Arsenal Spelling Bee without a bit of prior revision, lord knows it took me a couple of transfer sagas!
