Tevez: My 7 months in China with Obagoal & Co were holidays

Carlos Tevez on social media for his interview in Argentina claims his seven months in China with Obafemi Martins' Shanghai Shenshua
were holidays.

The player has recently returned to Boca Juniors after originally signing for Shanghai Shenhua on a two-year deal but injuries and complaints over his attitude and weight lead to a premature end.

Tevez had said that the criticism was right: "it is okay because I was on a seven-month holiday. It is the price that someone has to pay for not being at the level.

"When I went onto the pitch my face gave away that I didn't know what I was doing there."

His comments have not gone down well with Chinese fans who have slammed the former Manchester City and West Ham United man.

"He has very poor morals' and 'he is rubbish, completely unprofessional" were some of the more polite comments on social media according to MARCA.

Tevez now hopes to win the Copa Libertadores at Boca."I want to thank the Chinese club for having freed me and so I can be here at home and able to enjoy this," he added.
