Fuel Scarcity: Man pours fuel from gallon into his N50m BMW i8 supercar

A photo has been making rounds online of a man spotted in Lagos, pouring fuel from a gallon into his BMW i8 hybrid car.
Due to the ongoing fuel scarcity across the country, Citizens have seen Long queues of motorists persisting at filling stations, leading to gridlock and the unavailability of commercial vehicles on the roads of major cities, including Lagos, Owerri, Ibadan, Abuja, Kaduna and Katsina.
But this BMW owner isn’t letting the fuel scarcity stop him, as he stopped to purchase fuel from the road side, popularly referred to as black market, and can be seen pouring into the fuel tank of the super car.

“Fuel scarcity will humble you”, One Nigerian reacted to the viral photo.

The BMW i8 is a plug-in hybrid sports car developed by BMW, it runs on both fuel and electricity.
